Director of Mental Health and Wellness

We welcome Fran, our newest board member as Director of Mental Health and Wellness. She joins us as a fellow LEO spouse and family member who is currently an individual psychotherapist specializing in MOS PTSD, suicide prevention, substance abuse, and serves as the Veteran’s liaison at Catholic Charities Mental Health Clinic in Medford.

President and Founder

Cara is a Proud Law Enforcement Wife and mother to two boys. Cara is the Associate Executive Director and Compliance Officer of a Day Program supporting young adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. Cara has spent the past 22 years working with children and adults in a multitude of settings across nonprofit sector. She has been married to her LEO for 10 years and decided to utilize her passion for training, mental health and community outreach to help support the family members of Law Enforcement Officers.



Director of Strategic Initiatives

Marlene is a Proud Law Enforcement Wife and mother to three daughters, two of which are special needs. She is a healthcare advocate and community relations professional.  Marlene speaks at schools, to civic groups and to medical professionals about pediatric kidney disease and the importance of the study of Nephrology to the health of this country. She is the NYS Legislative and community relations representative for Nephcure Kidney International. Marlene is an advocate for Law Enforcement Families and is currently the Director of Strategic Initiatives for both the National Police Wives Association and New York Law Enforcement Families Foundation.
